Loveland Police Host Training

The City of Loveland Police Division played host to the NACVSA training and recertification program from 02.08.2010 – 02.12.2010.
Approximately 28 police officers from as far away as Kansas attended the week long training in truth verification.
After successful completion of the course the officers will be certified in administering computer voice stress analysis examinations. These examinations are used in furthering criminal investigations as well as in the pre-employment hiring process of new recruits. The instrument detects deception during the interview process by charting the stress in an individuals voice when they are attempting to conceal the truth.
The City of Loveland Police Division currently has two certified operators of the CVSA instrument with plans to train additional officers on its operation.
